The Taxi driver was said to have returned a whooping amount of GHC8000 a passenger left in his car. His kind gesture has triggered many heart warming concerns from netizens on social media.

The VGMA’s artist of the year has also contributed in cash after he was touched about the trending issue. He noted that it’s very unlikely that someone will return money left in their possession in these times and hence the taxi driver has to be rewarded handsomely.

In a video chanced on by SmartNewsGh on UTV Ghana’s page, Kidi announced that the man has earned himself GHC5,000.

In the same regard, the taxi driver has gained some recognition from the government.

His good deed caught the eye of the vice president of Ghana, Dr. Muhammadu Bawumia as he has gifted this young guy a whopping GHC 20,000.

This was made known in a recent post by the renowned Ghanaian journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni. The post reads;

“The post I made this morning on the taxi driver is yielding results. I’ve found him. Vice President Bawumia and others have reached out to reward his honesty. You can find his number in this story, in which he speaks about how it all happened.”
