Gospel musician and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party, Cwesi Oteng believes that the ruling government has not failed Ghanaians.

In an interview with Sammy Forson on Daybreak Hitz, the celebrated gospel singer mentioned that H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo still has the country at heart, and has fulfilled most of the promises he made to Ghanaians.

According to him, his ultimate goal which was to make secondary education free in Ghana has been achieved and deserves to be applauded.

“I don’t think he has failed. Some of the major promises have been done. Free SHS was the president’s big conversation and is being achieved.”

Even though the ‘God Dey Bless’ hitmaker admits that he and other Ghanaians are facing hard times in the country, he is optimistic that the government can do better with its dealings to make the country a comfortable place to live.

He added that the ruling government can do better.

“Things can be done better, things can be communicated better, and the people’s views can be respected and heard. The people are not trees to think that they are not feeling what they are saying.”

Cwesi Oteng is currently promoting his new single dubbed MoMo. Many have criticized him claiming he recorded the song to back the newly introduced E-Levy which was heavily opposed by a majority of Ghanaians.

He however denies these claims and explained that he just likened the grace of God to that of how accessible mobile money popularly referred to as ‘MOMO’ is in Ghana.

Cwesi Oteng, (real name Hermon Cyrus Kwesi Nhyira Oteng) is a young Ghanaian gospel recording artist, songwriter, youth pastor, creative director, conference speaker and youth advocate who has the calling of bringing God’s message of hope, love, peace, transformation and care to humanity upon him as well as being a voice of assurance for the lonely, rejected, lost and forgotten in society through music and social projects.
